| Sept 17, 2002- A large group gathered for the General Meeting which was held at the Radisson Inn. Although many topics were brought to the floor, few were resolved. The major consenses however was "We Just Don't Want to Quit". | |||||||||||||||||||
| Shirley Schlossin took a side trip to 'Pike's Peak' and is showing off her "Pike's Peak" survivor shirt to Bernie Rowe as her husband Herb looks on.. Bernie seems to be enjoying the view! |

| Many of the members were interviewed and Video Taped for an upcoming Documentary depicting the 465th Bomb Group. |

Sunday morning found the Longacre's in their room tending to last minute details working on and stuffing the 'Registration Packets' that were to be distributed to the incoming re-union participants. |

Registration was set up
and ready promptly at 3:00 on Sunday,. |

Mrs. Longacre, Mrs. Althoff, John Ogden, Walt and Jim were manning the table as the first two registrants arrive.

| It wasn't long before the lobby was filled with many 781st members gathering about chatting with or waiting to greet old buddies and friends. |

| Refreshments and drinks in the Hospitality Room and the drinks at the Banquet were all donated through the generosity of Frank Piteo who was Top Gunner on Billger's Crew. | |||||||||||||||||||
